Use placement, not distance

Gel bait is safe indoors when it is applied where ants travel and pets cannot reach: inside cupboard hinge recesses, behind kickboards, along the top edge of skirting, in cracks and behind appliances.

Where never to apply

Never on open worktops, food preparation surfaces, pet bowls or feeding areas, exposed floor level in a room a crawling child uses, or anywhere the dot is visible and reachable.

  • No open surfaces or food areas
  • Nothing at reachable floor level
  • Keep bait away from pet bowls and bedding

After the treatment

Once the colony has stopped appearing, wipe away any remaining visible dots with warm soapy water, or leave hidden dots in place to intercept re-introduction.

Everything below assumes a professional-strength bait — our indoor ant gel bait kits ship with the applicator and placement map referenced here.
